Online pre-registration is now closed. If you wish to register for this event you will be able to do so onsite at the venue on Sunday 11th of July from 10.00.

If you have already registered and completed payment for your registation you will be able to print a registration confirmation via your profile. Log in to my profile.

Registration Fees

All prices are quoted in Euros (€) and are inclusive of VAT.

• *Member of an an IASO affiliated association or society. View IASO members

1. *To qualify for the World Bank rate, applicants must be both citizens and residents of one of the low-income countries defined by the World Bank. View World Bank country list. Please note that if you are being sponsored by a major company this rate does not apply
2. *Applicants must be full time students at the time of the Congress and are required to send a letter from their university department to confirm their student status. Please post, fax or email it to the Congress Secretariat. Post-doctorate students are not eligible for this rate.
3. Registration for accompanying persons can only be purchased onsite at the Congress Venue. See below for more details

Note: Payments must be received by the corresponding deadlines (early or standard), otherwise the subsequent rate will automatically apply. Registrations from 26 June 2010 are to be made onsite at the Congress Venue. Onsite registration opens on Sunday 11 July, 2010.

Registration Inclusions

• Admission to the scientific sessions and exhibition
• Opening ceremony and welcome reception
• Scheduled lunches and coffee breaks
• Delegate bag containing the programme book, abstract book, etc.

Payment Information

Payment policy

Your registration can only be confirmed once the full payment has been received.

Payment must be in Euros using one of the following payment options:

1. Credit card is the preferred payment. Visa and MasterCard only. Payments can be completed during online registration. We are unable to accept American Express card payments
2. Cheques (in Euros) - Cheques should be made payable to Obesity International Trading and must be received by the appropriate payment deadline
3. Bank Transfer - Instructions on how to pay by bank transfer will be included in your invoice when you complete your online registration. Please note that international bank transfers may take up to 10 days to reach our account
4. If you take advantage of the Early Rate, payment must be received by the March 26 deadline. If payment is not received by this deadline, the subsequent rate will automatically apply.

Cancellation policy

• Cancellations must be made in writing to the Congress Secretariat
• Cancellations received before 1 April, 2010 will receive a full refund less a 100€ administration fee
• Cancellations received after 1 April, 2010 will not be refunded
• Substitute delegates will be accepted but must be advised in writing.

Accompanying Persons

Registration for accompanying persons can only be purchased onsite at the Congress Venue on Sunday 11 July during the registration opening hours. The registration includes the Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception which takes place on Sunday evening and the Stockholm City Hall Reception that takes place on Wednesday evening. See the Social Programme page of this website for further details. Accompanying persons will not be able to access the Scientific Sessions or the Exhibition Area during the Congress - a full delegate registration would be required.

Group Registration

Group registration is available to groups of 10 or more delegates. If you wish to register your delegates as a group please contact the Congress Secretariat. Note: Group registration closes 17 June, 2010. You will not be able to register a group after this date.

Letters of invitation

Letters of invitation to assist with Visa applications for Sweden can be provided by the Congress Secretariat once the following information has been provided:

• Proof of payment of fees
• Full name
• Work and home address
• Date of birth and passport number

If you require an invitation letter please contact the Congress Secretariat. Visa applications are not the responsibility of the Secretariat. Delegates are encouraged to submit their applications to the appropriate embassy in good time. Letters of invitation will not be issued after 28 May, 2010.
